Jay Batti Dhibar

Jay has been a resident of Bolpur since his birth. He first got introduced to kantha stitch art form as a curriculum in school, which he later developed as his primary skill. In order to gain flawless proficiency in kantha stitch, Jay has acquired various trainings on the art form disseminated from his local municipality and other organizations. With the knowledge gained, at present Jay has established himself as a distinguished artist of his locality. Jay has been running his handicraft business for almost 5 years now. Dhibar produces a vast variety of ethnic kantha stitched garments ranging from saree, stole, to readymade kurta, Panjabi and others.
