Biswajit Saha

BiswajitSaha, is 31 years old and lives in Bolpur, Birbhum. Biswajit recalls to have stayed in Bolpur for 15 years now and is an active member of the Amar Kutir Society, a welfare organization operative in the area to promote betterment of local artisans along life and livelihood lines. Biswajit has been making fashionable bags for the past 10 years. At present, he employs around 10 to 15 local artists. Biswajit and his team specializes in producing a variety of bags ranging from intricately kantha stitched handbags and purses to tote and sling bags made out of khesh. Producing a wide variety of fashionable bags, Biswajit at present have established himself as a distinguished artist of his locality.
