Subhas Dhara is an incredibly talented artist from Bolpur with jewellery making skill. Bolpur has been his home for the past sixteen years. Subhas has been proficient in carving out uncountable accessories out of metal. He has learnt the art form on his own by seeing and taking inspiration from neighboring artists and with the passage of time has established his aesthetic supremacy in producing a variety of trendy accessories. Subhas has been carving out jewelleries out of metal for almost a decade now. He has six people assisting him in his work. Together with this small unit, Subhas produces a range of trendy accessories from oxidized metal necklaces, earrings to matching jewellery sets infused with the fusion of rural aesthetics and modern design.
