Anisur has been residing in Jambuni since his birth. He specializes in kantha stitch art form. With undying passion towards kantha stitch, Anisur's intricate skills and sound expertise has enabled him to establish his aesthetic supremacy in his locality even in the early days of his creative career. Anisur has learnt kantha stitch informally by observing his family members and other local artists of his neighborhood practice the art form. Anisur has been pursuing a profession along creative lines for the past 9 years. At present, he has employed over 70-75 local artists, together with whom he produces a range of products like kantha stitched Saree, Kurta, Panjabi, dupatta, palazzo and other innovative items. Infused with the artistic touch of rural Bengal, Anisur's products are a curious amalgamation of modern day innovation and traditional aesthetics.
