Bolpur has been the home to Das since his childhood. He makes different kinds of leather works telling that he learnt this craft from various places. He even is a member of the Shantiniketan Leather Cluster. His learning from different places and sources truly ensures a level of perfection in his art and keeping in mind his recent association with the Leather group in Shantiniketan, the perfection and skills just got amplified. Basudeb has been working and practicing for 12 years with 4 people working for him. His products include leather bags, wallets, etc. Thus with a 12 years of hand in leather surely has made him an expert in this field, ensuring dedicated and high quality products for customers.
