Satyajit Mondal has been residing in Birbhum's Tantipara for over two decades now. From a very early age, he developed interest in drawing and painting. With the passage of time his interest escalated, which inspired him to take up his artistic pursuit as a profession. He learned about different design forms from the neighboring artists. Satyajit is famous for his cultural with modern design works. He has been pursuing his creative career for the past 8 years . He makes a variety of embroidery and hand printing work on tassar silk sarees. His products range from punjabi, stole, to duppatta, and sarees. Currently Satyajit employs 2 local artists under him. Satyajit's flawless intricate work has made him a renowned artist in his locality.
