Bikash Das is an incredibly talented artist from Bolpur with miscellaneous products. Bolpur has been his home for the past thirty-five years and he is associated with Amar Kutir, a welfare organization operative in the area for the artisan community of Bolpur. Being a part of DIC and NAC, he has made uncountable beauty pieces of Kantha stitched bags, khesh bags and applique garments. He has learnt the art by his own and with the passage of time has established his aesthetic supremacy over producing a variety of items in Kantha stitch, khesh and applique. Bikash Das has been pursuing a profession along creative lines for the past 9 years. Learning the art by his own observation and interest, at present he holds a commendable position in the production department of Amar Kuthi as a master trainer. He makes garments and bags in Kantha stitch, Khesh and applique. While Bikash's aesthetic rigour gets reflected in a vast variety of fashionable Applique Palazzo and kurta, he also creates Kantha stitched and Khesh bags, a must-have in the list of trendy accessories.
