Debajyoti Ghosh

Debajyoti Ghosh has been born and brought up in Tagore's land. Being there since birth, Shantiniketan's cultural and artistic heritage finds a special place in Debajyoti's heart. He specializes in making a variety of bags and textile products. Acquiring a professional training from Biswa Bharati's Shilpo Sadana, Debajyoti at present is a member of the Handloom Division of Skill India and has established himself as a distinguished artist of his locality. Debajyoti has been involved in making trendy accessories for a long time now. He closely works with few other artists from his locality. Together they produce a wide variety of bags and accessories, infused with the aesthetic flavour of rural Bengal. His bags range from sling canvas bags, intricately woven kantha stitch bags, to handmade khesh bags.
